  What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  - Provide hands-on leadership by mentoring, coaching, and guiding employees while fostering a positive work environment
  - Lead safety performance initiatives, promoting a proactive safety culture and ensuring compliance with safety standards
  - Manage shift maintenance activities and resolve equipment breakdowns to maintain uninterrupted plant operations
  - Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness across operations
  - Monitor and manage the plant's operational costs and yield, collaborating with the Plant Manager to optimize performance
  
  What is Required (Qualifications):
  - Prior experience in a plant supervisory role within an engineering or manufacturing environment
  - Strong people management skills, particularly with a non-exempt production workforce
  - Demonstrated success in delivering strong employee relations and safety performance
  - Understanding of supply chain practices, metrics, and data analysis
  - Familiarity with Lean Thinking concepts and practices
  
  How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  - Experience with private fleet management/transportation
  - Strong customer focus orientation
  - Ability to work cross-functionally and manage safety performance programs
  - Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
