What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Deploy and configure Oracle databases on AWS RDS, ensuring performance tuning and high availability
- Automate health check reporting to proactively monitor database performance and security
- Continuously optimize database performance and diagnose issues using AWS CloudWatch
- Establish and automate backup and recovery procedures, testing disaster recovery plans
- Document database procedures and best practices for consistency and adherence

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven experience as an Oracle Database Administrator, specifically in AWS environments
- Strong knowledge of Oracle database architecture, performance tuning, and administration
- High proficiency in Oracle database tools and utilities
- In-depth knowledge of AWS RDS and related services with more than 5 years of experience in a lead role

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) and AWS Certified Database – Specialty would be beneficial
