What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct interviews with clients to gather information about their legal issues
- Draft legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence under the guidance of a lawyer
- Aid lawyers in trial preparation by organizing exhibits and coordinating witnesses
- Perform administrative duties to maintain an organized case filing system
- Conduct legal research for hearing preparation and assist with client meetings

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 5 years of paralegal experience in the state of Washington
- At least 2 years of experience working as a paralegal in Washington State
- Completion of an ABA-approved paralegal certificate program such as an Associate's degree or proprietary school program in paralegal studies
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Completion of a nationally accredited paralegal program strongly preferred
- Bachelor's degree in paralegal studies desired
- Candidates with advanced paralegal education or professional certification will receive preference
- 3+ years of legal service experience under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting
- Experience in the King County, Thurston County, and Snohomish County areas is a bonus
