What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide service for inbound pharmacy phone calls and assist with outbound patient refill calls
- Proactively coordinate medication refills, including data entry and claim adjudication
- Answer, resolve, and triage inbound inquiries regarding prescription drug coverage
- Clarify prescription orders with pharmacists and clinicians as needed
- Actively participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and customer service
What is Required (Qualifications):
- State registration as a pharmacy technician in Colorado
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician, particularly with adjudicating claims
- High school diploma or GED required
- Strong interpersonal communication and exceptional phone skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- National certification as a CPhT or equivalent is strongly preferred
- Experience managing refills or working with specialty pharmacy and clinical care teams
- Ability to work remotely and adapt to various software tools
