What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Analyze, prepare, and input payroll data for multiple locations across various states
- Support benefits, HR, and Payroll Manager with compliance regarding payroll, tax, and reporting requirements
- Research and resolve routine employee paycheck-related inquiries
- Process payroll-related audit requests and support configuration changes in the Workday Payroll system
- Collaborate with accounting, benefits, and human resources teams to ensure accurate payroll processing
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 5 years of payroll or finance experience
- Experience with US multi-state payroll
- Experience with Workday Payroll preferred
- Experience working in a healthcare company
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Strong background in processing final pay in California, Oregon, and New York
- Knowledge of labor and tax laws related to payroll
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a customer service focus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
