What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage payroll for multiple clients, ensuring timely and accurate processing
- Handle payroll changes, including adding/removing employees and managing deductions
- Address client inquiries regarding payroll and payable matters, providing solutions and analysis
- Process end-to-end payroll across different pay frequencies and provinces, including EHT and WCB filings
- Collaborate with clients and the bookkeeping team to ensure seamless service delivery
What is Required (Qualifications):
- PCP certification (or currently pursuing)
- Minimum of three years of payroll experience in a fast-paced environment with multiple employees
- In-depth knowledge of the Canadian payroll process, including taxes and deductions
- Experience processing payroll in multiple provinces, with Quebec experience as an asset
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple clients and tasks efficiently
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with payroll software tools like Payworks and Wagepoint
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Tech-savvy with a knack for learning new software quickly
- Strong internet connection (at least 6Mbps up/down) for remote work
