- Process payroll for all employees accurately and on schedule.
- Maintain and update payroll records and employee information.
- Calculate wages, deductions, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Coordinate with HR and finance teams to resolve payroll discrepancies and issues.
- Prepare and submit payroll reports and tax filings as required.
- Assist in audits related to payroll and ensure data confidentiality.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations.
- Proven experience as a Payroll Clerk or in a similar administrative role.
- Familiarity with payroll software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong numerical and data entry skills with high accuracy.
- Understanding of payroll processes and relevant legislation.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in accounting or finance are a plus.
