What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist surgeons during clinic visits and in the operating room as a first assist
- Manage patient care, including rounding on post-operative patients and handling inquiries
- Conduct assessments, diagnosis, and treatment for burn patients
- Coordinate with Ambulatory Surgery for scheduling surgeries
- Perform other duties as assigned
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Graduate from an accredited physician assistant program recognized by the Arkansas State Medical Board
- Current Arkansas Physician Assistant license or eligibility to apply for licensure
- Ability to manage daily care of critical and non-critical burn patients
- Proficiency in performing assessments and treatment plans for burn patients
- Strong communication and coordination skills in a clinical setting
