What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide essential medical care as needed to support the UAMS Ortho Clinic team
- Conduct physical assessments, diagnose illnesses, and prescribe treatments
- Perform minor procedures to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams for high-quality care
- Maintain accurate medical records and educate patients about their health conditions
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Master's Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Licensed Physician Assistant with State Medical Board certification
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- National certification (NCCPA) required
- Strong clinical skills in conducting physicals and managing patient health issues

- Previous experience in orthopedics or a related field
- Knowledge of medical terminology and diagnostic procedures
- Excellent communication skills for patient education and collaboration
