Job Description
- Req#: PREMI005976
- Conduct mail audits to develop and classify premium base for coverage provided. Minimum number of mail audits to be completed per day will be established by leader.
- Confirm proper classification and exposure according to statutory and manual requirements.
- Examine policyholder reporting form, including documentation provided. Ability to summarize records for final billing.
- Communicate audit findings as needed to management, agents, underwriting and customers proactively.
- Insure a high level of service to customers, agents and regional personnel through interpersonal communication, email and phone.
- Ability to work independently with multiple systems including the premium audit system, knowledge of customer payroll systems and Microsoft Office with entry level Excel skills.
- Ability to analyze and respond to audit questions and disputes within authority level.
- Work independently with focus on effective time management including economic scheduling of work as well as achieving established minimum number of mail audits to be completed per day.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

What you will do:
We are seeking a highly motivated Premium Auditor I to join our team. The role will involve conducting mail audits to develop and classify premium base for coverage provided. The successful candidate will work closely with our leader to achieve the minimum number of mail audits required per day while adhering to statutory and manual requirements. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to effectively communicate audit findings to various stakeholders.

What you will need:
Education: Associate's Degree in Accounting or related field preferred or Equivalent Business experience; PAAS TAP Program certification preferred.
Experience: 1 - 2 years premium audit experience.
Salary: $47,300-$70,900
The final salary to be paid and position within the internal salary range is reflective of the employee’s work experience, their geographic location, education, certification(s), scope and responsibilities in the role, and additional qualificatio ns .
