What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and drive the cybersecurity strategy by defining security requirements and developing secure cloud architectures
- Lead the evaluation and implementation of security technologies and tools
- Create and maintain documentation for configurations, policies, and procedures
- Identify security issues and risks, and develop mitigation plans
- Mentor teams on cybersecurity best practices and secure software development life cycle (SDLC) practices
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 10+ years of relevant cybersecurity experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Computer Science
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- 5+ years of experience in the healthcare industry
- 5+ years of experience with HITRUST, SSAE 18, or other control frameworks
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Demonstrated ability for strategy development and solution planning
- Proven ability to lead programs from initiation to closure across multiple business units
- Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership
- Experience in creating and governing cybersecurity policies and standards
- Familiarity with risk mitigation and investment for cybersecurity controls
