Job Description
- Req#: REF180151H
- To define and derive the process, methods and tools for Software Configuration Management (SCM). The role is to perform SCM for various PS-EC products like ECU, VCU, DCU..etc
- To lead PS-EC SCM Process towards efficiency, usability and future orientation (Future collaboration and Development Environment)
- To plan PMT releases of SCM process according to release Milestones of ProcLib, Software-PMT
- To Coordinate and Consult all product domains (ECU/SW) and process organization ( BBM / PS / PS-EC) to improve SCM @ PS-EC
- To drive PMT maturity as defined in the QG process to enable smoother rollout and acceptance from the projects
- To rollout of SCU Configuration Management PMT changes across PS-EC Customer, platform and functional development projects as defined in wave plan
- To Train target audience for introduced process changes based on defined training concept
- To perform stakeholder management among various key stakeholders like Software Project Manager(s), Package Responsible(s), Software Developer(s), Process Responsible(s), Product Owner(s)
- Bachelor of Engineering in electronics& Communication/Electrical and Electronics
- 5-12 years of experience in product development lifecycle and Project life cycles
- Have a profound understanding of PS-EC Software Configuration Management processes, methods and tools
- Preferred to have experience as Software Configuration Manager in at least one domain (ECU/SW), ASPICE and ISO26262
- Keen to use agile working & collaborative methods (e.g.: SCRUM)
- Enjoy Analytical Thinking and Influential Communication
- Are passionate to learn, lead initiatives, inspire yourself and the team
- Possess good Knowhow on Software Configuration Management Tools
- Exposure to tool environment like GitHub, Azure Cloud, SDOM, RQ1 & ALM
- Ability to understand the business model and product life cycles
