What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide targeted professional development and ongoing in-classroom support to teachers and district leaders
- Analyze data and assist educators in applying it to instruction to improve classroom learning
- Collaborate with district and site leaders to develop and revise annual professional development plans
- Deliver professional development on implementing educational products to ensure equity in the classroom
- Serve as a thought leader, exemplifying the company’s mission-driven approach to education
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience in teaching, coaching teachers, or providing professional development
- Proficiency in using digital tools and discussing data with educators
- Understanding of adult learning principles and their application in professional development
- Ability to manage and evaluate program implementations effectively
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within designated territory
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Strong working knowledge of New Jersey State Learning Standards for Literacy, Grades K-8 (or comparable state standards)
- Experience providing high-quality classroom coaching to educators
