What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead technical projects, manage budgets, and maintain client communications
- Identify new business opportunities and prepare proposals and cost estimates
- Oversee preparation of land-use and resource permit applications for various agencies
- Support and lead siting, permitting, and environmental review for renewable energy projects
- Ensure project execution aligns with quality, schedule, and budget compliance
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Biology, Geology, or a related field
- 7–15 years of experience managing and supporting CEQA projects
- Proven experience with California permitting processes and relevant agencies
- Excellent organizational, communication, and writing skills
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master’s degree in a related discipline
- Experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects in California
- Experience with energy development clients and large-scale renewable projects
