      Global Corporate Security manages the overall physical protection of Bank of America employees, clients, and facilities around the world. The Protective Services Regional Manager (RSM) is responsible for providing security services and solutions that safeguard employees, clients, bank assets and the brand. The RSM delivers these services to all levels of the organization through high-touch engagement with market leaders and business partners that increase awareness of security programs, initiatives, trends and newsworthy events.

      Position Overview

      The RSM oversees their team’s implementation of our security program, policies and procedures in their area of responsibility. The RSM is responsible for understanding/mitigating the threat landscape in their region and partnering with the line-of-business key stakeholders to provide security services to help the business achieve its objectives. The RSM will maintain all organizational and professional ethical standards, possess the ability to work independently under minimal supervision and exercise independent judgment.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Build and maintain relationships with all levels of management in their area of responsibility, as well as interacting with external stakeholders and external security experts to include local, state and federal law enforcement

      • Analyze and interpret the security initiatives to ensure they are correctly deployed within their assigned geographic area.

      • Review completed security assessments focusing on the identified risk/exposure making sure PSMs initiate corrective action

      • During critical incidents and events, coordinate the team’s immediate response efforts with all appropriate parties. Serve as both a liaison and information resource providing concise and accurate information and updates to upper management

      • Oversee guard deployment strategy and security integrator work and expense for their area of responsibility

      • Manage / coordinate security efforts and mitigate security risks and threats

      • Act as a strategic advisor to Regional Executive, including identifying opportunities for greater efficiency and effectiveness through process improvement, structure and technology

      • Leads a team of security professionals in advancing employee awareness of relevant security risks and mitigation measures through communications, training and collaboration

      Required Skills:

      • Excellent Communication Skills (verbal and written) and be able to interact with internal customers/leadership

      • Critical Thinking skills - have demonstrated abilities to make critical decisions

      • Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated/self-starter

      • Influencing skills - Ability to influence using a balance of subject matter expertise, business acumen, and relationship skills

      • Ability to use data to identify trends and improve business decisions

      • Adaptability - Work closely with internal and external stakeholders

      • Solid Computer Skills – working with MS Office suite

      • Respond in a timely fashion to events including off regular work hours

      Desired Skills:

      • 10+ years of experience in security, risk and/or related roles

      • Strategic thinking and execution

      • Strong operational excellence
