What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct 25+ farm and facility visits to assess feeding programs and provide recommendations
- Drive sales growth by introducing new feed products and managing customer relationships
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with dealers, co-ops, and industry experts
- Lead educational events to promote products and enhance customer loyalty
- Utilize CRM and analytics tools to track sales and identify strategic opportunities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5-10 years of industry or farm experience related to sales
- Experience in feed formulation primarily for equine
- Proven budget management experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office and virtual tools
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Agriculture, Agribusiness, or a related field
- Ability to formulate feed related to equine
- High internal drive and natural relationship-building skills
- Experience in leadership within a team environment
- Willingness to travel overnight (5–10%) and daily within assigned territory
