What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as a key liaison between the employer and healthcare professionals involved in the care of individuals with fibrodysplasia ossificans progressiva (FOP)
- Develop and implement account-specific strategies to drive awareness and adoption of the employer’s therapeutic solutions
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare providers (HCPs)
- Apply clinical knowledge and market insights to deliver compelling messaging to healthcare professionals
- Monitor and analyze local market trends to identify new opportunities for growth
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 10+ years of account sales experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry
- Rare/ultra-rare sales experience required
- 2+ years of experience working with key thought leaders or high-influence customers
- Outstanding interpersonal, selling, presentation, influencing, and negotiation skills
- Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in musculoskeletal or progressive musculoskeletal/rheumatology/orthopedic rare disease
- Documented success leading institutional centers or accounts with multidisciplinary teams
- Account management experience in calling on large group practices and/or integrated delivery networks
