      BWC is currently operating under a hybrid schedule that can incorporate both teleworking and in-office hours. Employees may be required to report to the office when requested by management &/or for their initial job training.

      What You'll Be Doing:

      • Directs agency real estate program including property, materials, and safety and health;
      • Oversees development, operation and planning regarding maintenance, operations, construction and remodeling;
      • Acts on behalf of BWC and the Finance Department in the negotiations of leases, managing landlords, dealing with utilities and safety issues for employees;
      • Provides facilitation and oversight of multi-million dollar Facility Department annual and project budgets;
      • Develops annual and long-range plans for capital improvements and maintenance;
      • Directs all Facilities Management and Building Management contract staff in day-to-day operations.

      Required Experience and/or Education:
      Completion of core program for graduate degree in business administration; 2 yrs. trg. or 2 yrs. exp. in real estate or property management.

      Or completion of core program for undergraduate degree in business administration; 3 yrs. trg. or 3 yrs. exp. in real estate or property management.

      Or 5 yrs. trg. or 5 yrs. exp. in real estate or property management.

      Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.

      Skill in: use of a personal computer; BWC software*; AutoCAD design.

      Salary Information
      Unless required by legislation or union contract, starting salary is set at lowest rate of the salary range. In most cases successful employees will move up a step in the salary range within six months, with subsequent step increases occurring every year as supported by successful performance evaluation results.

      In order for any educational achievements to be considered during the screening process, you must at least attach an unofficial transcript that details the coursework you have completed.
