What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide telephonic professional nursing services, including patient support and education
- Make outbound and receive inbound calls from patients, healthcare professionals, and consumers
- Answer inquiries and suggest appropriate resources for patients
- Collect accurate data and summarize follow-up phone calls and patient outcomes
- Participate in program-specific meetings and demonstrate clinical competency
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate degree and professional nursing license in good standing
- Registered Nurse License required; must be licensed in the state of employment and willing to obtain additional licenses as needed
- 2-5 years of nursing experience
- Basic database and office navigation skills
- Ability to maintain high levels of customer service while multitasking in phone and PC-related tasks
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in telephonic nursing roles
- Compact State License in eligible states
- Additional Single State Licenses upon request
- Strong skills in interpreting patient information and determining next steps
- Proven ability to follow scripted materials while interacting with patients and prescribers
