      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Provide comprehensive pre-award support to faculty, staff, and researchers in grant and contract proposal development
      - Collaborate with principal investigators to develop compliant and detailed budgets
      - Review proposals and contractual documents for adherence to regulations and guidelines
      - Serve as a liaison with sponsors for post-submission correspondence and compliance verification
      - Manage internal budgets and monitor expenditures for research programs

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Associate degree in accounting, business, finance, or related field
      - Two (2) years of experience in pre-award or sponsored projects administration, including budget development
      - Knowledge of Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200) and federal sponsor award compliance
      - Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
      - High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field
      - Certified Pre-Award Research Administrator (CPRA) or other research administration credentials
      - Experience supporting faculty in a higher education environment
      - Familiarity with research administration systems and sponsor platforms
