What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage and participate in day-to-day functions of compliance committees including IBC, IRE, ESCRO, and UIC
- Review and approve research protocols and provide follow-up as needed
- Maintain current knowledge of regulations related to research safety compliance
- Communicate updates on federal, state, and university requirements to relevant parties
- Provide guidance and administrative support to faculty, staff, and students regarding compliance protocols
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Strong knowledge of compliance-related regulations and policies
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in research compliance or safety programs
- Familiarity with electronic compliance management databases
- Participation in professional development activities related to research safety
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
