Title: RN – Registered Nurse - ICU Float Pool REGION 3 “We dedicate our lives to caring for yours” BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking an experienced RN to join our outstanding and compassionate team. - Position fills daily needs within an assigned region and is required to take assignments based upon regional needs at Bartow Regional Medical Center, South Florida Baptist Hospital and Winter Haven Hospital. - Minimum 6-week requirement is 4 shifts to include 2 weekend shifts. The Registered Nurse works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards. Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team. The Registered Nurse is also responsible for professional accountability and development. - The registered nurse collaborates and communicates with inter-disciplinary care providers in developing and assisting in plan of care - Organizes and prioritizes and updates plan of care in collaboration with patient, family, and significant others in the departments - Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment. - The CN II performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.
