What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Drive new business growth and enhance profitability in existing accounts by identifying high-impact opportunities
- Serve as the strategic sales lead, consulting with business owners and executives
- Build and manage a pipeline through referrals and self-generated leads
- Deliver persuasive presentations showcasing how the employer's solutions meet client needs
- Travel within a designated territory to prospect and establish relationships with local businesses
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 6 years of Merchant Sales Experience
- Deep knowledge of the payments industry, including Interchange and gateway connectivity
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets with a results-focused mindset
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 10 years of sales experience with a focus on solution selling in Commercial, Mid-Market, or Enterprise space
- Background in SAAS, Banking, Payables, and Receivables
- Proficiency in Salesforce as a CRM
- Strong partner relationship building and territory development skills
- Ability to creatively resolve client issues and manage multiple projects effectively
