      Position Summary

      The Sales Representative Manager is responsible for leading, developing, and executing the national sales strategy for commercial glass and glazing services and new commercial construction projects across the United States. This role oversees all Sales Professionals and Business Development Representatives (BDRs), ensuring consistent performance, disciplined pipeline management, and alignment with company growth objectives.

      The ideal candidate brings deep experience in the commercial glass and glazing industry, understands the complexities of service work versus new construction, and excels at building high-performing sales teams in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.

      Key Responsibilities

      Sales Leadership & Strategy
      • Develop and execute a national sales strategy for commercial glass service, tenant improvement, retrofit, and new commercial construction projects.
      • Establish clear sales goals, KPIs, and performance benchmarks for all sales professionals and BDRs.
      • Drive consistent sales processes across all regions, ensuring accurate forecasting, pipeline visibility, and CRM discipline.
      • Collaborate with executive leadership to align sales strategy with company growth plans, market expansion, and revenue targets.

      Team Management & Development
      • Directly manage, coach, and mentor Sales Representatives and Business Development Representatives nationwide.
      • Recruit, onboard, and train new sales talent with a strong emphasis on industry knowledge, estimating fundamentals, and relationship-based selling.
      • Conduct regular performance reviews, ride-alongs, and pipeline reviews to drive accountability and continuous improvement.
      • Foster a high-performance sales culture focused on professionalism, collaboration, and ethical business practices.

      Business Development & Market Expansion
      • Support BDR efforts in identifying, qualifying, and developing new business opportunities with general contractors, property managers, developers, architects, and building owners.
      • Strengthen relationships with key national and regional accounts.
      • Identify emerging markets, verticals, and service opportunities within the commercial glazing sector.
      • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.

      Project & Operational Collaboration
      • Work closely with estimating, project management, operations, and service teams to ensure accurate scoping, pricing, and handoff of awarded projects.
      • Provide market feedback on pricing trends, competitor activity, and customer expectations.
      • Assist in resolving pre-contract and post-award issues related to scope, schedule, or customer expectations.
      • Ensure sales commitments align with operational capacity and risk management standards.

      Reporting & Forecasting
      • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and reporting for executive leadership.
      • Track win rates, backlog, average deal size, and sales cycle metrics.
      • Analyze performance data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.


      Required Qualifications
      • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in commercial glass and glazing sales, with exposure to both service work and new commercial construction.
      • 3-5 years of sales leadership or management experience, overseeing multiple sales professionals and/or BDRs.
      • Strong understanding of:
      • Commercial glazing systems (storefront, curtain wall, window wall, entrances)
      • Service, emergency repair, tenant improvement, and retrofit work
      • Construction bidding, estimating, and contract negotiation
      • Proven ability to manage national or multi-regional sales teams.
      • Proficiency with CRM systems, sales forecasting tools, and Microsoft Office.
      • Willingness to travel nationally as required.


      Preferred Qualifications
      • Experience selling to general contractors, property management firms, developers, and institutional clients.
      • Familiarity with union and non-union market dynamics.
      • Knowledge of project delivery methods (Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, negotiated work).
      • Background working with both field service teams and large-scale construction operations.
