- Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet Web sites, referrals and other sources.
- Develops and executes a call plan for the area assigned to include calls to and appointments with prospective agents.
- Is highly visible in his/her marketing area by attending title insurance industry functions and participating in appropriate organizations.
- Effectively creates or adapts and delivers group and individual presentations to customer groups, target customers, and others.
- Assesses individual client needs and develops, presents and implements a plan to meet those needs
- Communicates proactively with and responds in a timely manner to clients, fulfilling the Westcor services platform working with administrative support, underwriting counsel and regional management.
- High School Diploma.
- 2 - 5 years of successful Title/Real estate industry experience.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
- Ability to listen to customers and understand their needs and objectives to better respond and provide solutions.
- Applies diplomacy and tact in all business interpersonal activities
- Demonstrates persistence, tenacity and consistency in pursuing revenue opportunities.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to persuade and influence others. Strong negotiation skills.
- Flexible with the ability to adapt strategy to changing conditions.
- Understanding of market and competition with the ability to identify external threats and opportunities.
- Visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image too the public.
- Rudimentary understanding of the title business and the real estate services industry.
- Basic understanding of filed rates for market services.
- Ability to travel to cover region assigned.
- Ability to prepare a business plan, set goals.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Develops and retains a quality Agent client base. Administers marketing program focusing on prospective agents and provides maintenance of existing customers. Agency Representatives interface with division/regional management and legal counsel on the appropriate management of agents. Agency representatives have an ongoing responsibility for maintaining the customer relationship and servicing the customer's needs throughout.
