What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Receive and process incoming communications and online requests from patients and referring providers
- Perform patient registration and scheduling, ensuring timely and high-quality service
- Document patient demographic, medical, financial, and referral information accurately
- Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers
- Maintain confidentiality and privacy in compliance with HIPAA guidelines
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- 0-1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a contact/call center environment
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 0-1 year of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting
- Familiarity with Epic systems
- Knowledge of referral triage processes and insurance stipulations affecting appointment scheduling
