What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform QA/QC reviews of construction documentation, including inspection reports and builder invoices
- Verify accuracy and completeness of project scopes and ensure compliance with environmental requirements
- Coordinate with field staff to resolve inconsistencies in construction documentation
- Assist in maintaining document control for all construction and inspection records
- Support quality assurance audits and field verification activities as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 3+ years of experience in residential housing construction inspections or QA/QC activities
- 2+ years of experience reviewing and approving contractor invoices
- 1+ years of experience with federally funded construction programs like CDBG-DR
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English
- Willingness to travel for work as needed
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience with Xactimate for damage assessments and cost estimating
- Knowledge of IRC 2021, IBC 2021, and resilient construction practices
- Familiarity with construction management principles
- Experience with monitoring and oversight management
