  First Connect is a startup within Hippo. This position is a very unique opportunity to work as part of a high-growth US-based, publicly traded insurtech company, working on high-visibility innovative products while working alongside an international team with versatile experience.

  We are looking for a Sr. Business Analyst, Product to spearhead our data track and catapult FC forward based on structured data analysis. You will play a crucial role in analyzing complex data sets, identifying trends, and providing actionable recommendations to drive business growth and optimize product performance.

  What You'll Do:

  • Instrument FC’s key performance metrics
  • Analyze agent traits and behavior to highlight product areas tied to agent productivity
  • Build self-serve tools and advanced visualizations that provide easy access to insights
  • Support planning and forecasting for both the business and product teams
  • Work hand in hand with the product team to analyze and improve product features
  • Partner with the performance marketing team to track and analyze marketing campaigns across the complete activation funnel
  • Collaborate with data engineering team to enrich data elements to drive insights

  Must Haves:

  • 4+ years of industry experience in a Data Analytics role, including developing advanced metrics and visualizations and working alongside business teams
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and data visualization (Tableau is a plus)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to present complex technical findings in simple terms
  • Great business intuition and ability to generate hypotheses alone
  • Familiarity with insurance concepts is a plus
  • Degree in a quantitative field required
