What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support the development and maintenance of IT compliance programs and controls
- Design and oversee execution of the IT controls program, ensuring regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with IT and business units to address compliance documentation and control gaps
- Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding IT controls and security
- Assist in managing internal and external audit efforts and deliverables
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related discipline
- Minimum eight (8) years of experience in IT internal/external auditing and internal control projects
- Knowledge of major risk and IT control frameworks and financial services regulations
- Strong understanding of IT security concepts and ability to apply them in decision-making
- Proficiency in using word processing and spreadsheet applications; experience with various operating systems and database platforms
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Relevant professional certifications such as CISA, CIA, CPA, or CSM
- Experience in a public accounting firm or consulting in the financial services industry
- Advanced knowledge of IT control identification and validation
- Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives effectively
- Familiarity with internal control reports (e.g., SOC1, SOC2)
