What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as a key contributor to the development of Scientific Communication Platforms ensuring accuracy and consistency in messaging
- Analyze and evaluate scientific data for medical, non-promotional, and promotional materials
- Develop medical slide presentations and materials for advisory boards and congress symposia
- Provide guidance on the appropriate use of scientific evidence and review materials from external compendia
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align communications across various functions
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 8 years of industry experience in Medical Communications or Medical Affairs
- Advanced degree in Life Sciences (PhD/PharmD/MD/MSN) required
- Strong organizational skills with proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Veeva Vault
- Demonstrated expertise in writing and presenting scientific and clinical data
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% (including international travel)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 10 years of industry experience in Medical Communications or Medical Affairs strongly preferred
- Previous Medical Reviewer experience is a plus
- Experience in rare disease and/or endocrinology preferred
- Expertise in managing Medical Communications projects such as advisory boards and congress/publication plans
