What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify customer needs, competitor offerings, and emerging trends
- Assist in the development and refinement of commercial auto insurance products, including coverage features and underwriting guidelines
- Collaborate with actuarial, underwriting, claims, legal, and IT teams to ensure product alignment and successful implementation
- Prepare and maintain product documentation, including coverage summaries and regulatory filings
- Analyze product performance using data that measures sales conversion, retention, and profitability
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, Finance, Economics, Actuarial Science, or related fields
- At least five years of work experience in commercial lines, with a minimum of two years in product development and auto insurance
- Strong understanding of auto insurance products, pricing, and regulatory requirements
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to lead product design initiatives from concept to launch
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Strong working knowledge of Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools
- Successful track record for completion of product development projects
- Experience in mentoring or training junior team members
