  • Hands on experience on writing SQL Queries and expertise in automation script design using Selenium and Java
  • Good experience in testing interfaces via batch processes with other applications.
  • Excellent Test Case Design Skills
  • Analyzing the critical business scenarios
  • Identify scope & method of testing for each requirement
  • Assess / evaluate unit test coverage and results.
  • Create and Execute test cases / scripts, track results in all phases of testing – smoke, functional, integration and regression
  • Use ALM tools such as VSTS for creation and execution of test cases and to maintain traceability
  • Test Execution and monitoring
  • Analyzing and preparing the test results
  • Tracks defects and causal analysis to closure.
  • Reviews requirements, design and scope documents.
  • Helps support and advocates the standard to test design, procedures and may provide input to those procedures.
  • Interacts with Subject Matter Expertise (SMEs) and development teams to identify and refine test requirements.
  • Coordinates and/or performs testing from initiation through delivery.
  • Ensures testing is completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Serves as liaison between technical and non-technical department in order to ensure that all targets and requirements are met.
  • May create and maintain test libraries, databases and test environments.
  • May certify and review test results of other analysts and testers.
  • Should have worked on 1 automation tool and have good hold on one scripting language
  • Should be able to handle modules independently without much support from Test lead

  Desirable/Advantageous:

  • Desirable to have knowledge on both ETL testing and Selenium/Java automation

  Experience:

  • Should have combined experience of 5+ years’ experience
  • in SQL, functional and automation (Selenium) testing
  • related quality assurance, technical or business experience.

  Education:

  • BE/ BCA/ MCA degree in computer science, engineering or related discipline
