What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide field risk engineering to meet underwriting requirements
- Develop and implement customer service strategies that reduce loss and improve customer operations
- Offer engineering support to the underwriting team by attending client broker meetings
- Perform field engineering services primarily for larger locations on accounts and/or prospects
- Deliver advanced property consultative services, including identifying exposures with significant loss potential
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree and 6 or more years of experience in the Property Risk Engineering area, or High School Diploma/Equivalent and 8 or more years of experience in the Property Risk Engineering area
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Experience working in a team environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Fire Science, or a related degree
- HPR Property experience
- Property Loss control/Risk Engineering experience within the insurance industry
- Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS)
- Strong communication and consultative skills
