- Manage and grow strategic relationships with Tier 1 OEM clients.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, understanding their business needs and delivering tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product management, and engineering to support account growth.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities.
- Provide accurate forecasting, reporting, and analysis for senior leadership.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in sales account management or related roles.
- Proven success supporting Tier 1 OEMs with complex sales cycles.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to influence and collaborate with senior executives.
- Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or higher, MBA desired (but not required)
- Experience in selling highly specialized semiconductor solutions (FPGA's, ASIC's etc.)
- Established network within Tier 1 OEM organizations.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales analytics platforms.

Position Summary:
Altera Corporation is seeking a highly experienced Senior Strategic Sales Account Manager with a proven track record of supporting sales at Tier 1 OEMs. This role requires a strategic, results-driven professional who can manage high-value accounts, develop long-term relationships, and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have both business and technical acumen and have 15+ years of experience in sales account management selling highly technical, semiconductor solutions, and a deep understanding of Tier 1 OEM dynamics.
This position is remote - the candidate must live in Texas or Portland, OR.
