      Job Summary

      As a Senior / Staff Customer Applications Engineer, you should be able to provide support, to both internal and external customers, for a range of existing and future Renesas PMIC Products. Support will be provided both directly and through the companies Field Applications team. Occasional Travel will be required to meet/support customers and to meet/provide training for other Renesas colleagues. In additional to customer support, as a Customer Applications Engineer, you should be prepared to support the marketing and sales team in their efforts to win new business, perform device evaluation tasks as required and to prepare customer collateral.

      Your Profile

      Required:

      • Strong electronics backgrounds with 5~10 years of experience including power management
      • High level expertise on basic lab instruments and measurement methods, ideally for Bucks, LDOs and ADC’s
      • Ability to debug any unexpected issue and identify the root cause
      • Knowledge and experience of embedded systems engineering. Development with Microcontroller and System on Chip tool chains to develop solutions to demonstrate and verify customer required system level behavior of the PMIC
      • Board level analog and digital circuit design expertise and PCB schematic design
      • Ability to work with minimal instructions and available to support team members and share own expertise
      • Goals-oriented and able to deliver on-time results under customer driven schedules
      • Ability to work on and support multiple customer issues in parallel.
      • Confident and eloquent business communication in German and English.

      Nice-to-have:

      • Experience of Automotive product development including Functional Safety
      • Select/propose innovate methods/techniques to improve existing solutions
      • Python programming with particular use for lab automation hardware environments
      • Experience supporting colleagues from other teams, such as Design Engineers, Test/Quality/Product Engineers
      • Cross cultural awareness and sensitivity within multisite and multicultural environments
      • Flexible to undertake occasional international travel
