What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead and project manage a portfolio of customer engagements focused on sustainability consulting
- Maintain regular communication with key customers and ensure proper information flow regarding products and services
- Engage in analytical tasks to deliver corporate inventories, product footprints, and strategy analyses
- Provide strategic advisory services to help customers set and achieve sustainability-related targets
- Collaborate with the sales team to acquire new customers and provide technical support in sales meetings
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Master’s degree in a sustainability-related field or a Bachelor’s degree with at least seven years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in developing and leading sustainability consulting engagements
- Expert knowledge of major market drivers of sustainability, including the Greenhouse Gas Protocol (GHGP) and the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi)
- Strong experience in corporate accounting for Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with life cycle inventory database development and maintenance
- Knowledge of textile/fashion or agricultural life cycle assessments (LCAs)
- Expertise in renewable energy markets and opportunity identification
- Programming experience in R, Python, or SQL
- Familiarity with data visualization platforms such as PowerBI
