      In the role of System Test Lead you will have the opportunity to help shape the direction of the latest generation of underground location products as we move into an exciting phase of software development including mobile apps and remote services designed to manage and extend the capabilities of all current locators and transmitters.

      About The Lead Test Engineer:

      Working within the Engineering Department as a System Test Engineer you will be responsible for the system level testing and design verification / validation of Radiodetection Locator and CAT products (IoT platform Products) in close cooperation with Software and Hardware development teams.

      The role requires responsibility for creating product system validation / test plans, supervising the System Integration Test (SIT) team to execute test plans, creating test reports and managing traceable records from concept through release to volume manufacture.

      Effective communication with the project team is essential to ensuring that the project objectives are met and delivered on time.

      Responsibilities of the Lead Test Engineer

      • Identify & establish testing best practices and methods through NPD life cycle (V model) and transform testing function in to a world class operation, with balance of in-house capability and partnerships development.
      • Represent testing through stage gate process from Idea to Launch.
      • Evaluating software, hardware, features, functions and characteristics of the product
      • Lead testing technical project management and create and maintain test verification and validation test plans and test reports
      • Establish appropriate reporting and traceability.
      • Support Current-product & Software team in testing or advisory.
      • Lead knowledge management and standardization for testing methods and practices
      • Carrying out functional and regression testing
      • Providing technical leadership to our cross-functional agile product development teams.

      Requirements for the Lead Test Engineer

      • Experience & understanding of theory, concept and application of sensing/locating systems or connected devices.
      • Crating Integrated end-to-end test plans and report writing
      • Enthusiastic technologist, able to demonstrate a broad technical knowledge.
      • HALT, Electro-mechanical testing, Climatic testing & Failure Analysis
      • DOE, FEMA, 6 Sigma. Extensive quality assurance (QA) experience.
      • Strong understanding of QA methodologies.
      • Compliance Testing
