We are currently looking for a talented Senior Unity Developer with a focus on editor tooling to join our team and take our simulations and content creation tooling to the next level.       This position can be done from our office in Valencia (hybrid model) or remote in Spain.

      Responsibilities

      • Develop and maintain custom tools and workflows within the Unity Editor to enhance the efficiency and productivity of the development and content creation team.

      • Collaborate closely with designers, artists, and engineers to identify tooling needs and requirements, and implement solutions that address these needs, prioritize tasks, and deliver solutions within agreed timelines.

      • Create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for the tools and features developed, ensuring they align with the overall user experience guidelines.

      • Conduct regular code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers to ensure high-quality code and adherence to best practices.

      • Stay up to date with the latest Unity Editor features, techniques, and best practices, and evaluate their potential application within our development pipeline.

      • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to tooling and editor scripting, working closely with the development team.

      • Continuously improve tooling processes and methodologies, identify areas for automation, and implement solutions to drive efficiency and productivity gains.

      • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in the field of game development to contribute innovative ideas and improvements.

      Requirements and skills

      • Proven experience as a Unity Developer with a focus on Editor Tooling, with at least 5 years of professional experience in a SaaS company.

      • Strong proficiency in C# and extensive experience with Unity Editor scripting, including custom inspectors, editors, and tools.

      • Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.

      • In-depth knowledge of Unity Editor features, workflows, and the overall game development process.

      • Experience with version control systems, such as Git, and familiarity with agile development methodologies.

      • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and provide effective solutions.

      • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
