      Job Description

      Position Title: Service Coordinator

      Reports To: Supervisor, Service Coordinators

      Department: Onsite Scheduler

      Work Location: Costa Rica (Remote)

      Classification: Salary, Exempt

      Major Responsibilities

      • Match interpreters to assignments based on skill levels, locale, and ratings.

      • Analyze interpreter schedules daily.

      • Assist customers with adjustments to assignment requests.

      • Keep Manager and Lead Service Coordinator advised of any issues.

      • Support OnSite Services’ Quality Management System (QMS) to continually improve the Division’s processes, procedures and services; and thereby increase efficiency, productivity, effectiveness and customer satisfaction.

      Essential Job Functions:

      • Notate any interpreter and customer conversations that pertain to the request/assignment.

      • Assist with special projects and tasks.

      • Ensure that customer notification deadlines are met.

      • Fill in for Team Members as needed.

      Skills and Qualifications

      • Excellent customer service skills.

      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; effectively using interpersonal communications including tact and diplomacy.

      • Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, excellent troubleshooting skills, and creative problem solving skills.

      • Ability to maintain high contact with interpreters and customers.

      • Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment.

      • Ability to be self-motivated and self-directed and think and act independently while also being team oriented.

      • Demonstrated computer proficiency.

      • Work ethic with a focus on attendance.

      • Ability to receive and apply constructive feedback.

      Education and Experience

      • High School Diploma or equivalent.

      • Experience in scheduling or staffing is preferred but not required.
