      Job Description

      This role is for a ServiceNow Technical Lead who will work closely with ITSM Process Developers, customer personnel, Business Analyst(s), IT support teams and other technical teams to ensure that business needs around implementation of ServiceNow Platform are in a controlled and predictive manner. This candidate needs to be strong hands on with the ability to work independently and customize /enhance the ServiceNow solution.

      The candidate should be highly technical and adaptable to the rapid pace of financial services development and delivery. They need to be an excellent team player with good overall technical and communication skills and above all be self-motivated and drive the overall progress of ServiceNow at Jefferies.

      The candidate would be the lead role in executing the program with the following responsibilities:

      · Maintain a high degree of knowledge of and keep update on ServiceNow’s product offering

      · Understand latest technology, solutions, and industry trends and conceptualize functional solutions that address business needs, opportunities and issues

      · Identify and develop opportunities to get more value out of ServiceNow for the firm

      · Ensure that we are following ServiceNow CSDM, ITIL and DevOps best practices whenever possible

      · Maintain instance health by reviewing and guiding the remediation of configurations that do not align to ServiceNow best practices

      · Coordinate upgrades and changes to the ServiceNow instance Managing permissions and access (roles, users, and groups)

      · Troubleshoot day-to-day operation and system issues

      · Work with the ServiceNow support team to resolve issues.

      · Setting up notifications, scheduled reports, and alerts

      · Maintain Service Catalog and Service Level Management.

      · Participation in requirement gathering phase to provide time estimation to client needs.

      · Create and update the existing configuration documentation

      · Perform platform upgrades, and review skipped updates due to upgrade standards and community guidelines

      Primary Skills / Must have requirements

      • Experience working with web application technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST, etc.)
      • Follow the ITIL process to develop solutions
      • ServiceNow development / implementation / administrative experience
      • Strong knowledge and understanding of Mid Server, Integrations, LDAP, Flow Designer and SSO, API’s and Integrations.
      • Experience in generating reports, patching, and monitoring ServiceNow instance
      • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow components such as Service Catalog, Change Management Incident Management, Problem Management, CMDB, Knowledge, Security Operations, Service Portal
      • Experience developing applications on the ServiceNow platform and related technology (App Creator, Studio, ES5/ECMAScript, related client, and server API’s)
      • Create and configure Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts, REST APIs and ACLs including advanced scripting logic.
      • Experience in Service Portal to build custom Widgets & Portals.
      • Create and configure Notifications, UI pages, UI Macros, Script Includes, Formatters, etc.
      • Experience working with structured data, schema, and databases
      • Experience integrating internal and external applications.
      • Exposure to Identity Management and Single Sign on/Active Directory integrations.
      • Experience with Agile and SCRUM software development approaches
      • Superior attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
      • Ability to understand complex business needs and adapt appropriately.
      • Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies applicable to the ServiceNow platform.
      • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
      • Previous success working in a dynamic environment with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
      • Scripting in various areas (Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, Access Control Lists, UI Policies, Portal Pages, UI Pages).
      • Find opportunities to automate and enhance the end-user experience.
      • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

      The salary range for this role is $150,000 to $175,000.
