  What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  - Monitor the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) dashboard for potential security incidents
  - Analyze incoming alerts to distinguish between false and true positives and prioritize responses
  - Conduct investigations to gather context and relevant logs related to security alerts
  - Adhere to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Incident Response (IR) playbooks for consistent handling of security events
  - Create and manage tickets in the case management system to document investigative steps and findings
  
  What is Required (Qualifications):
  - U.S. citizenship with eligibility for a Secret clearance
  - Minimum of 0-2 years of experience in a Security Operations Center or related IT support roles
  - CompTIA Security+ certification required within the first 2 months of hire
  - Strong verbal and written communication skills
  - Familiarity with various operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux
  
  How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  - Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related technical field
  - Additional certifications such as GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC) or Microsoft Security Operations Analyst (SC-200)
  - Professional portfolio showcasing projects (e.g., GitHub, article write-ups, home labs)
  - Participation in Capture-the-Flag (CTF) competitions or bug bounty programs
  - Familiarity with querying languages and scripting (e.g., Kusto Query Language, PowerShell)
