What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Code from scratch and modify existing software systems or applications
- Develop software systems for enhancements and new products, focusing on cloud-based applications
- Conduct requirements gathering and analysis to understand software problems and functionality
- Support evolution activities by correcting programming errors and implementing software enhancements
- Apply knowledge of software development best practices, including coding standards and testing
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Typically requires a college degree (or equivalent) with up to one year of experience, but may not have any
- Conceptual knowledge of theories, principles, and practices within the technology consulting discipline
- Ability to learn routine assignments of limited scope and complexity
- Effective communication skills to build stable internal working relationships
- Willingness to seek guidance and feedback from senior team members
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with programming, scripting, and database languages
- Experience with software development best practices and methodologies
- Previous internship or project experience in software engineering
- Knowledge of coding standards and source control management
