      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Manage and oversee the design and development of software applications
      - Direct the work of engineers to ensure adherence to best practices in software development
      - Manage subordinate staff in their day-to-day performance
      - Ensure project and departmental milestones/goals are met within approved budgets
      - Hire, train, and mentor departmental staff, conducting performance evaluations

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or similar discipline
      - Minimum of 5 years of software engineering experience, plus 1-3 years of supervisory experience
      - 5+ years’ experience working with relational databases
      - 5+ years’ experience working with source control systems, such as GIT
      - Technical experience with C#, Angular, PowerShell, PowerApps, SQL, and AI tools

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in managing large IT and vendor projects
      - Experience with Agile methodology; Scrum master certification ideal
      - Excellent oral and written communication skills
      - Presentation skills
      - Ability to manage vendor relationships
