      Job summary

      Would you like to apply for higher speciality training in a medical speciality in 2022/23? Following the introduction of internal medicine training are you missing some of the equivalent training experience required? Are you looking for a medical registrar job that will assist you in filling in the gaps on your CV including 10 weeks ITU experience?

      Apply for a Withybush Hospital Senior Medicine Clinical Fellowship (12-24 months) as a stepping stone to securing a national training number at ST4 level.

      Main duties of the job

      What will the job involve?

      1 in 12 medical registrar oncall rota with supported transition over the first 3 months for those without previous medical registrar experience

      Medical Registrar ward duties

      At least one outpatient or Same Day Emergency Care session per week through the year (SDEC counts as outpatient experience for speciality applications)

      About us

      Hywel Dda University Health Board is the planner and provider of NHS healthcare services for people in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire and its bordering counties.       • Highly specialised and tertiary services commissioned by the Welsh Health Specialised Services Committee, a joint committee representing seven health boards across Wales.
