What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct reviews of rates, analyzing profit and loss results, and projecting underwriting losses
- Prepare detailed analyses and rate package proposals for executive management review
- Develop competitive intelligence reporting to compare operations and results
- Support the development and design of new products and programs
- Analyze reports to optimize financial performance and manage risk effectively
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Successful completion of two or more actuarial exams
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in actuarial science or related fields
- Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Math/Applied Math, or Statistics/Applied Statistics
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel
- Experience programming in SQL, R, or Python
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Property and Casualty insurance
- R Shiny experience is a plus
- Strong organizational and time management skills
