This role provides a unique opportunity to lead enterprise integration initiatives in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. The Sr. Application Integration Specialist will design, implement, and optimize robust integration solutions, ensuring seamless data flow and connectivity across applications and systems. You will collaborate with architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams to translate business and technical requirements into scalable integration solutions. The position combines hands-on technical expertise with strategic influence, driving efficiency, agility, and innovation. You will mentor team members, champion best practices, and help advance organizational integration maturity. This role supports flexible work arrangements while delivering critical business impact and operational excellence.
Accountabilities
• Design, develop, and implement integrations using Informatica IDMC, including API Manager, API Portal, and Integration Hub.
• Translate business and technical requirements into scalable, high-quality integration solutions.
• Lead end-to-end integration projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and delivery standards.
• Establish and enforce integration standards in collaboration with enterprise architects.
• Design, secure, and manage APIs, implementing best practices for security, versioning, lifecycle management, and performance.
• Maintain and improve API portals, publishing accessible documentation and providing technical guidance to developers.
• Implement event-driven data synchronization and real-time integrations across multiple systems.
• Collaborate with DevOps to automate monitoring and alerting for integration pipelines.
• Mentor and train team members on integration best practices and IDMC capabilities.
• Partner with stakeholders across product, business, and security teams to ensure integrations meet organizational objectives.
Requirements
• 7+ years of experience in application integration, including 3+ years with Informatica IDMC.
• Proven expertise in Informatica API Manager, API Portal, and Integration Hub.
• Strong proficiency with RESTful and SOAP APIs, including security protocols such as OAuth, JWT, and SAML.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server and real-time data processing.
• Familiarity with insurance applications, underwriting processes, and Salesforce integration.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of Azure and cloud-native integration patterns.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments.
• Preferred: Experience with Informatica Data Integration, Data Quality, Governance, and Master Data Management.
• Preferred: Familiarity with event-driven architectures and scripting in C# or Python.
