What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support Managers' Internal Control Program (MICP) administration
- Assist in day-to-day resolution of unliquidated obligations (ULOs), open invoices, and sales order errors
- Monitor and provide updated status on actions for reporting to ASA(ALT) ARD
- Conduct historical fact-finding for audit sampling and quality control of documents
- Assist project managers with audit-related needs
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 14 years in accounting
- At least 5 years of experience in government budgetary systems
- Basic understanding of DoD audit policies and procedures
- Proven competence in financial reconciliation and audit readiness
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting; MBA with 24 credits of accounting or a Bachelor's in Business/Business Administration/Financial Management preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Extended government experience in financial management
- Familiarity with Joint Reconciliation Program (JRP) and Risk Management and Internal Controls (RMIC)
