- Seeking a Strategic Sourcing Specialist to support an over-capacity Marketing & Communications team with sourcing, contract drafting, and supplier negotiations. Remote acceptable (Boston-based team). Start ASAP.
- Core focus: lead end-to-end contract execution-negotiate commercial terms, coordinate Legal/Risk/Procurement/Data Privacy/IS reviews, and manage approvals through signature. Limited RFI/RFP activity; leadership typically pre-selects vendors.
- Must have strong contract negotiation and drafting experience within digital marketing, agencies, and marketing technology platforms, plus hands-on experience in Coupa (supplier risk workflows) and Excel.
- Environment is fast-paced and highly matrixed; requires multitasking across multiple concurrent agreements and stakeholders, with solid working knowledge of legal and commercial terms.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 5-10 years of experience in strategic sourcing, contract management, or vendor management, ideally supporting internal business teams such as Marketing or Communications.
- Excellent contract management and negotiation skills.
- Creative problem solver, analytical skills.
- Broad knowledge of vendor categories, including Marketing, Communications, Technology, and professional services.
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external partners.
- Lean and contribute to a dynamic and changing work environment.
- Organized and results-oriented with a sense of urgency.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and a good team player.
Role: Strategic Sourcing Analyst
Location: Fully remote is acceptable, however the team is in Boston, so makes sense to have someone in EST or CST time zones
Target start date: ASAP
Duration: Six months to start, with extension possible
