      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Develop, implement, and evaluate substance abuse prevention programs in elementary, middle, and high schools
      - Collaborate with school staff and community agencies to deliver effective education and intervention strategies
      - Provide consultation and support for students identified with substance abuse issues
      - Conduct substance abuse prevention education classes and tobacco cessation services
      - Maintain records and provide reports on services rendered to stakeholders

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's degree in social work, Human Services, Health Education, or a related field
      - Minimum of five years of successful experience in substance abuse education, prevention, and intervention
      - Valid North Carolina Professional Educator's License for school social work, school counseling, or related area
      - Valid motor vehicle operator's license in accordance with State of NC requirements
      - Comprehensive knowledge of substance use prevention and intervention programs

      - Master's degree in social work, counseling, education, or a related field
