  TechStyleOS is currently looking for an Assistant Tax Consultant/Steuerfachangestellter Part-Time .

  TechStyleOS is the globally integrated Operations and Services provider behind some of the fastest growing online fashion brands in history, including Fabletics, Savage X Fenty, JustFab, Yitty, ShoeDazzle, and FabKids.

  You will support all 4 of our brands: Fabletics, focused on athleisure and created together with the actress Kate Hudson; Savage X Fenty, our highly loved lingerie brands established together with Rihanna; JustFab, our online subscription fashion retailer that carries selections of shoes, handbags, jewelry, and denim; and Yitty, our shapewear brand reinvented by the singer Lizzo.

  With offices in Berlin, London, Barcelona and headquarters in Los Angeles, we´re currently looking for an Assistant Tax Consultant/Steuerfachangestellter Part-Time based in our Berlin office for 12 months (with possibility to extend).

  Please be aware that you need to be currently studying and you have to be fluent in German and advanced in English or the other way around.

  How Do You Fit In?

  As a working student in our corporate Tax and Finance team, you will have the opportunity to gain insight into a diverse range of tasks in the Tax, FP&A & Accounting teams as well as transform your theoretical knowledge into valuable practical experience.

  You will learn how the tax team ensures that all TechStyle Fashion Group companies worldwide comply with local tax laws, files tax returns, prepare transfer pricing calculations and documentation, manage statutory and financial audits and advice for tax implications on various projects.

  This position will report to the Senior Tax Manager.

  Responsibilities:

  • You support our team in tax compliance, such as preparing simple tax returns, performing tax calculations, reviewing notices and analyzing processes is always appreciated.

  • You support the tax department in a wide range of national and international tax issues and projects and work as a team member in a competent and highly motivated team from day one.

  • You support the accounting department in preparation of monthly, quarterly & annual financial statements and completing account reconciliations.

  • You will be responsible for data maintenance and analysis.

  • Your expertise is in demand for special projects.

  • You will benefit from a personal mentor who will provide you with advice and support on both a professional and personal level.

  • You help us to become better: You support us in documentation and filing activities.

  Required Skills:

  • You are currently studying economics with a relevant focus, e.g. taxes, tax law, finance and/or accounting and would like to gain practical insights.

  • Ideally, you have already acquired initial knowledge through vocational training and/or other internships.

  • You have gained initial experience in the field of accounting or have successfully completed an apprenticeship as an assistant tax consultant or accounting clerk (m/f/d) prior to your studies. However, this is not a requirement!

  • Due to your good comprehension skills and analytical way of thinking, it is easy for you to understand and process interrelationships.

  • You are a team player and distinguish yourself through your high motivation, flexibility, and willingness to take responsibility.

  • Must be fluent in German and advanced in English or the other way around.

  • Skilled in MS Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.

  Als Werkstudent in unserem Steuer- und Finanzteam hast du die Möglichkeit, Einblicke in die verschiedensten Aufgabenbereiche der Teams Tax, FP&A & Accounting zu erhalten und dein theoretisches Wissen in wertvolle praktische Erfahrungen umzusetzen.

  Du wirst lernen, wie das Steuerteam sicherstellt, dass alle Unternehmen der TechStyle Fashion Group weltweit die lokalen Steuergesetze einhalten, Steuererklärungen einreicht, Verrechnungspreisberechnungen und -dokumentationen erstellt, gesetzliche und finanzielle Prüfungen durchführt und bei verschiedenen Projekten hinsichtlich steuerlicher Auswirkungen berät.

  Diese Position wird dem Senior Tax Manager unterstellt sein.

  • Du übernimmst die Datenpflege und -auswertung.

  • Deine Expertise ist bei Sonderprojekten gefragt.

  • Du hilfst uns besser zu werden: Du unterstützt bei Dokumentations- und Ablagetätigkeiten (z.B. Aufbau und Pflege von Confluence).

  • Idealerweise hast Du bereits durch eine Berufsausbildung und/oder andere Praktika erste Kenntnisse erworben.

  • Du hast erste Erfahrung im Bereich Buchhaltung gesammelt oder vor Deinem Studium eine Ausbildung zum Steuerfachangestellten (m/w/d) erfolgreich abgeschlossen. Dies ist aber nicht Voraussetzung!

  • Aufgrund Deiner guten Auffassungsgabe und analytischen Denkweise fällt es Dir leicht Zusammenhänge zu erfassen und zu bearbeiten

  • Du bist ein Teamplayer (m/w/d) und zeichnest Dich besonders durch Deine hohe Motivation, Flexibilität und Verantwortungsbereitschaft aus

  • Selbstverständlich bringst Du fließend Deutsch und haben gute Englischkenntnisse oder umgekehrt.

  • Du verfügst über den routinierten Umgang mit MS Office, insbesondere Microsoft Excel.
